Nestled in a quiet valley in Western Pennsylvania is a lovely horse farm that offers the hunter, jumper and dressage horse and rider the quiet and competent environment necessary for continuous growth and development. Winterfield Farms, Inc. specializes in helping the junior and amateur rider develop the technical riding skills and the mental toughness to compete in today's show ring. We also train and develop young hunters, jumpers and dressage horses in a slow methodical fashion to allow them to reach their potential and stay sound in the process. To reach our goals, we strive to give each of our students and their mounts the time and attention necessary to absorb each new lesson to the full extent of their abilities. Winterfield Farms, Inc. is a user-friendly, compact facility located near Indiana, Pennsylvania. The facility is made up of a stable complex with an attached indoor arena. The twenty-four stall stable area contains light, airy stalls with rubber mats, automatic waterers and individual tack lockers. There are two hot and cold water wash bays with heat lamps, heated and air conditioned observation and lounge area ,a kitchenette, restrooms, a locker room, feed and tool rooms, farrier's work area and storage lofts. The indoor is sixty by one hundred twenty by sixteen feet high. It has skylights, side lights and is well lit at night.

The farm includes many paddocks and fields so that all horses can be turned out as much as possible for their mental and physical well being. The fencing is either three board or vinyl and electric for your horse's safety.
The two outdoor arenas both have lights and excellent footing. Many hunter/jumper fences are available in the lower arena. Courses are continually reset for a wide variety of technical skill exercises. The upper arena is usually set up for dressage schooling. Winterfield Farms also boasts a cross country course and several grass areas to train and condition horses. The farm is situated close to miles of trails and dirt roads.
